RYDER CUP NEWS: PENN STATE FALLS TO TEAM WORLD® IN LATE SEASON EXHIBITION

Following the electrifying finale of the 2024 Hitmen Ryder Cup, competitors gathered once again, this time for a friendly Labor Day showdown at Connoquenessing Country Club. Team World’s® dynamic duo, Garrison Drake and Robert Swan, faced off against Penn State Captains Matthew Welch and Logan Krawchyk in a spirited contest filled with thrilling birdies and unfortunate bogeys.

The match remained a nail-biter through the early back nine, until Team World® seized control, securing victory on the 16th hole. Swan, riding high on the recent success of Team World®, was quick to engage in his trademark boastful banter, celebrating the triumph with gusto.

As for Captain Krawchyk, despite claims that he would shut down his season early, our eagle-eyed reporters observed him back in action the very next day at Hartmann's Deep Valley Golf Course, casting doubt on his earlier declaration.
